About this objectThis headlight cover is a circular object shaped rather like a hat with a brim.The top of the ‘crown’ has three parallel shaded slits in it, formed by cutting and bending the metal. The cover was designed to be placed over a vehicle headlight in order to reduce the amount of light shining onto the road during WW 2.
